United States Bought 39% Of New Zealand’s Beef Production
New Zealand is the 14th largest beef producer in the world but the 5th largest beef exporter. In 2013, New Zealand exported 84% of their production. The top five destinations for New Zealand beef include: United States, China, Japan, South Korea & Taiwan. The United States buys more beef from New Zealand than the rest of the top five combined. In 2013, the United States purchased 39% of New Zealand’s entire beef production.
