NOBULL: RE: THE DUST BOWL chronicles the worst man-made ecological disaster in American history — The Folly continues

Some of these scenes remind me of the Texas panhandle–just last year, where thousands of acres that should have been cotton, were "planted" in super weeds, cattle were moved out for lack of grass, and dust devils cut across the horizon. Farmers lost their crop last year, and again this year. The only water available was for priming oil/gas pumps, and for those lucky enough to be able to drip irrigate.
