There will be no beef on the menu for Mexico’s World Cup squad leading up to the tournament in Brazil, according to a Reuters report.

The move comes three years after doping tests on that country’s soccer squad turned up positive for clenbuterol.

A meal of contaminated beef caused five Mexican soccer players to test positive in 2011 for the substance before the Gold Cup, the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) decided, dropping its appeal of an earlier decision by the Federation Internationale de Football Association (FIFA).

Mexico won the Gold Cup in June 2011, beating the United States, despite the absence of the five players.
